01. Scope of this agreement
OrbitCode develops Zaad and its related services. These terms govern use of the service to log nutrition, water, activity and weight, calculate estimated goals, analyze meals and track progress.
By using Zaad, you agree to these terms to the extent permitted by applicable law. If you do not agree, you can stop using the service and request a data export and account deletion under the privacy policy.
Apple’s terms govern App Store purchases and use of its services. The app is licensed under the agreement shown for it in the store. Where no custom agreement is provided, the Apple Standard End User License Agreement applies. This page governs Zaad’s service and supplements that license; it does not replace it with a custom license.
02. Account and eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Zaad. If you are 13 to 17, you must use the service with your parent’s or legal guardian’s consent and supervision, and they must review these terms and the privacy policy. Additional eligibility or consent requirements under applicable law continue to apply.
Some features require an account and internet access. Provide accurate information, including your date of birth, and keep your account secure. Do not evade age restrictions or use another person’s account without authorization. Tell us if you suspect unauthorized account use.
03. Nutrition information and goals
Zaad is a tool for logging and general awareness, not diagnosis, treatment or a substitute for a doctor or dietitian. Calories, nutrients, daily requirements and weight trends are estimates based on your input, food sources, preparation and quantities.
- Review portions, ingredients and values before relying on them. You can edit results in the app.
- Do not rely on a photo or automated result to determine allergens or food safety; check the product label and ingredients.
- Consult a qualified professional before dietary decisions involving a health condition, pregnancy, breastfeeding, an eating disorder, or a plan for a child or teenager.
- We do not guarantee a particular weight or health outcome or a timeframe for reaching a goal.
04. Using AI analysis
Zaad analyzes the photo or text you choose to submit after the required consent. Analysis may be inaccurate or incomplete, or may not recognize food. Review the results and do not use them as the sole basis for a health decision.
Do not submit content you lack the right to share, photos of people without appropriate permission, or sensitive information unnecessary for meal analysis. The privacy policy explains who processes content and how to withdraw consent.
The feature is subject to the limits available for your account or subscription. An analysis request may count toward your usage limit when submitted, even if it cannot be completed. Available access and limits are shown in the app; contact support if you experience a problem.
05. Subscriptions, renewal and cancellation
Some features may require a paid subscription, and a limited preview or trial may be available depending on the offer. The app and Apple’s purchase sheet show the price, duration, features and trial terms before you confirm a purchase. A free download does not mean all features are free.
Payment and renewal
Apple charges purchases through your account. Subscriptions renew automatically unless you disable renewal according to the offer and Apple’s settings. If you select a trial that becomes a paid subscription, review its end date and subsequent price. Apple recommends cancelling at least 24 hours before a trial ends if you do not want it to renew.
If pricing or offer terms change, notices and consent follow Apple’s requirements and applicable law before the change takes effect. Updating this page alone does not retroactively change the price of an existing subscription.
How to cancel
Open iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Zaad, then choose cancellation when available. You can also use subscription management in Zaad. See Apple’s cancellation instructions.
Deleting Zaad or your Zaad account does not automatically cancel your Apple subscription.Disable renewal in your Apple subscription settings if you do not want further charges. Your Apple account determines when access ends after cancellation; trial rules may differ.
Restoring purchases and refunds
You can restore purchases with the Apple account used to make them, subject to Zaad account linking and access eligibility. App Store refund requests are governed by Apple’s policy and your applicable statutory rights. Follow Apple’s refund instructions.
06. Your content and intellectual property
Rights in the content you add remain yours or those of its original rights holders. You give OrbitCode the permission needed to store, process, display, sync and, when you request it, analyze that content, within the operation of the service and the privacy policy.
If you choose to suggest food data for the public catalog, you permit its review, editing and publication if accepted. Do not submit personal information or material you lack permission to publish. Published nutrition information may remain in the catalog after account deletion; contact support to request removal or correction of contributions.
The Zaad name, design, software and assets belong to OrbitCode or their respective licensors. These terms do not permit selling the app, republishing its assets or using its branding to imply an affiliation that does not exist. Rights permitted by law remain unaffected.
07. Acceptable use
Use Zaad to log your nutrition and track your goals, and submit meal photos or descriptions that you have the right to use for analysis. To keep your account secure and the service reliable, you must not:
- Submit unlawful or harmful content, or content that violates another person’s privacy or rights.
- Attempt to access an account or data without authorization, or bypass security measures.
- Evade subscriptions, analysis limits or eligibility requirements.
- Disrupt the service, send abusive automated requests or use analysis for purposes unrelated to food and nutrition.
- Copy the app or exploit its data without a license, subject to applicable legal exceptions.
If you violate these terms, we may reject a request, restrict a feature or suspend an account in proportion to the violation. You can contact support@zaadapp.ai with questions or to appeal. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
08. Availability, service discontinuation and account deletion
Some features may be temporarily unavailable because of maintenance, connectivity or service providers. Sync, search and analysis may require a supported app version. We do not guarantee error-free or uninterrupted service.
You can stop using Zaad, export available data in the app and request account deletion. Deletion is scheduled after 30 days; signing in during that period cancels the request. The scheduled job then usually completes deletion within one additional day. See retention and deletion details.
Ordinary sync preserves diary records but does not upload local meal photos. Those photos may not be restored on another device. Use the export option to keep a copy of the data you need.
Discontinuing the service
OrbitCode may discontinue all or part of Zaad for operational, commercial or legal reasons, including when continued operation is no longer sustainable. For a planned discontinuation, we will give you at least 31 days’ advance notice, or longer if required by law, through your account email or an in-app notice, and publish details on the website.
We will stop new subscriptions and renewals for the affected service before discontinuing it in accordance with Apple’s requirements, and explain the closure date, subscription arrangements and how to contact support. We will provide a reasonable opportunity to export your available data before access ends and handle remaining data under the retention and deletion policy.
Discontinuation or the end of the notice period does not remove your rights for the period you have paid for. We will continue providing the included features until that period ends. If this is not possible, we will contact Apple to coordinate discontinuation and refund arrangements relating to the period for which the service was not provided, under its terms and applicable statutory rights. Apple handles App Store purchase refunds. This clause does not predetermine the refund amount or limit any statutory right you have.
Protection of your rights for the paid period also applies when a paid feature is materially changed or discontinued.
09. Limits of liability and your rights
To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses arising from reliance on an unreviewed nutrition estimate, incorrect input or use contrary to these terms. Any obligation to compensate is assessed under applicable law and the circumstances.
These terms do not exclude any consumer right, warranty or liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
If a provision is unenforceable, the rest of the agreement continues to apply to the extent permitted. Your rights and our obligations are governed by applicable law. These terms do not impose exclusive jurisdiction or mandatory arbitration, and your mandatory legal protections remain unaffected.
10. Updates and support
We may update these terms as the service changes. We will state the effective date of a new version, provide appropriate notice of material changes and request agreement when required. Updates do not retroactively alter accrued rights contrary to law.
These terms and the privacy policy are available in Arabic and English. Both versions are intended to convey the same meaning. Contact us if you notice a difference so we can clarify it. Wording differences do not affect rights that cannot legally be limited.
Read the privacy policy or return home.
